Free Android Geofencing App

Check out my latest Geofencing app at Google Play:

feature

Features: Geofencer lets you add,/edit,/delete geofences and choose:

  • When you want to be notified (entering or exiting the area, or both)
  • How you want to be notified (phone vibrating or playing a sound, or both)
  • What your phone is to do automatically on notification: turn on/off WI-FI or Blueetooth , put phone on Normal, Silent or Vibrate mode, send automatic SMS messages to contacts, etc.

By robotizing actions & firing events on crossing map zones, Geofencer ‘s aim is to help bring more intelligence into your Android device.

The app is free as long as you use the one geofence that comes with it, which should be enough for most basic uses. More fences are available through in-app billing.
Give it a try, and feel free to post suggestions & remarks.

Dude, please add the ability to make an HTTP request when entering or exiting a zone. Maybe even passing which zone as the parameter and stuff. I’ll totally automate my home with an Arduino and your app if you add support to HTTP requests.

HTTP requests have been added in v2.5. Let me know how that works with Arduino.
